It would either be take a pay cut or be the next Latrel Srewell. I'm sure the Rockets will put a fair offer on the table, and allow Tracy to test the Free Agent market. If Tracy doesn't get any better offers, he will stay. If he gets a better offer he will go.

This issue is not about money.... Far removed from it. This issue is about respect, honor and loyalty.... What T_Mac did last year was disrespected Morey, Rick and the entire organization on HOW HE HANDLED THE ISSUE... This has nothing about if he was hurt or not.. It was how he handled the entire deal. Then at the same time he's attention seeking enough he might need the NBA limelight. And Darfur projects arent going to pay for itself. Kidd re-upped with Dallas for around 3 years/25 mil total. Nash with the Suns around 2 years/23 mil total. Shawn Marion signed for 5 years/39 mil. Those guys have been WAY healthier than McGrady. He'll at MOST get the Kidd type deal. Or 3 years/20 mil.
