We will all be dead before basketball takes over the world. You can count on it. Of course we might all be dead before football becomes a popular sport in the US, but that is another issue. Oh, reading this over I think I need to clarify. Take over the world as in becoming the most popular/played/watched/followed game in the world, passing football. No doubt that basketball is taking over the world in the sense that it is growing rapidly in popularity all over the world, but passing football? Not in our lifetime.
