Okay so the last time I purchased a computer was about 5 years ago. I used to be up to date with all the newest and latest hardware, but since I hadn't needed to upgrade for the longest time I'm a bit confused on what computers are even considered good deals anymore. Used to a stick of ram would go for 60-70 dollars, now I'm seeing 2 and 3 gigs of ram go for that price. The same goes for video cards, when I purchased mine it was a nice quality one for around 300 dollars, but now I hardly know what a "quality" video card is. I typically use my computer primarily for gaming, and the occasional Microsoft word nothing to extreme. So I'm basically wondering if any of you have any recommendations on decently priced computers that are capable of playing the current game software that is out without a problem, and for general working purposes. Laptop or desktop is fine. Thanks !
