I pretty much agree with Ottomaton's post. The Deer population has expanded unbelievably in the last 50 years, and the killing of coyotes, mountain lions, and other predators has went the OTHER WAY in the last 50 years...Probably, a big effect coupled with management efforts via allocated funding by hunting licenses...I know maintaining the establishment of "wetlands" for wildlife preservation also has contributed... I do know towns and cities are crossing paths with deer more frequently...Some counties are seriously allowing or considering hunts of anterless deer to help in the curtailment...I like to hunt, but I'm more of a shooter than a hunter...Given the choice, target shooting is more of my appeal. (The Barret 468 is next!)
