it's not hard to imagine that the laptop repair guy made a backup from the original hard drive and that by now there may be multiple backups out there in the world

 

That may be possible but given that the data is part of a criminal investigation the copying and widespread distribution of that would seem to taint that investigation.

Also if the contents were copied and recopied and distributed widely I'm not sure then how you determine what anything we're hearing publicly can be authenticated to the original laptop.

If anyone here has expertise on this am curious how data is handled in an criminal investigation and how you would authenticate data that has been copied and recopied.

How then does that affect the investigation and how is the data on those copies authenticated?

I'm not asking this just to debate but honestly am curious.

 

I'm also going to bring up that concern was expressed that Virginia Thomas' texts were leaked. What is the concern then that data from a private citizen, Hunter Biden, who is under investigation has been copied and widely distributed?

So just leaving a laptop at a repair shop and not remembering to pick up amounts to voluntary releasing the data on it?

That also still doesn't answer the question is how do we know what Gaetz claims to have is authentic or how is any of the stuff that has been publicly released been authenticated?

For example, why weren't the "Ukraine Biolab" emails released weeks ago? They were only released once the propaganda machine started that Russia invaded due to the existence of these labs (even though that wasn't Russia's intent).

Also, if all these copies of the hard drives exist, why is there a seemingly cooperative effort to not just release everything at once?

we know that trumps chief of staff gave texts to the house committee investigating the trump insurrection and that there were about 30 texts from the wife of a supreme court justice calling for the election to be overturned and to "“release the Kraken and save us from the left taking America down.”

her texts are disturbing on multiple levels, one of which is her blatant partisanship and hatred of "the left". her husband is supposed to be non-partisan and above the political fray. her actions completely compromise any appearance of impartiality on his part.

 

So the truth is that Biden abandoned the laptop at a repair shop and the repair shop technician (legally blind) gave the laptop to Rudy Giuliani? That's the source?

 

All of these laptop stories getting leaked to deep state mouthpieces like CNN/WaPo/NYT makes you think they are trying to get out in front of something that is coming, to try and set the narrative.
