I don’t think anyone outright dismissed them all as fake. What people like myself knew though is it was likely hacked by the Russians and disseminated in a way that is likely disinformation. I know some of you believe Russians are pure of heart arbiters of truth but I sure as heck don’t trust them.

Either way, I didn’t see anything that showed any impeachable offenses by JOE Biden. Although it did show Hunter as a guy with some issues and not someone who should be working in government.

Glad our president isn’t someone who just automatically puts his kids in the White House like Donald Trump.

 

I once again reaffirm that I will never vote for or support Hunter Biden for any elective office he may run for and I call for his immediate resignation from the Biden administration.

NY Times never dismissed the emails as misinformation. I also don't think the interpretation of this is correct. I still don't understand why you guys are so obsessed with Hunter Biden and his crack pipe lol.

 

Here is the problem with how all of this is being handled by some conservative outlets.

First, Politico didn't admit anything about the authenticity of the Biden e-mails.

A writer for Politico has a book coming out about Biden where he alleges some of the e-mails are real.

The writer BTW has been very critical of the Biden's for some time, so I am not shocked.

Second, I don't hear or see anyone really claiming that Hunter Biden isn't a POS.

He has a history of drug issues, sex issues and has tried to pander the family name and ties for a long time.

That same site links to a supposed "interview" with Hunter Biden where there is a "foreign news transcript" of the interview.

Really?

Also there is no evidence that Hunter was ever successful in what he tried to do.

 

I don't think the laptop emails are fakes. But, I don't think the NYT is "authenticating" those emails here. The article is talking about developments in the investigation into his compliance with FARA, his taxes, money laundering, and who knows what else. In the captioned section of the article, NYT says only that they "appear" to have come from the laptop and that the emails were authenticated by unnamed other people. The implication is that NYT thinks the emails are genuine, but they aren't saying they have proved the emails are genuine. I think the tweeter and basso have picked the uninteresting part of the article -- the dude is being investigated for tax evasion, money laundering, and violating FARA and the thing you want to highlight is that his hacked emails are genuine?

Btw, much like high officials skirting FOIA with private emails, we seem to have an endemic problem with FARA violations. Would like to see a crack down here.
