There was a thread a few months ago about a guy who was asking for advice. He said he really cared for his female cousin and he felt unapriciated by her. It sounded...eh...weird to say the least. He sounded like he really loved his female cousin...you know....in a Jerry Springer kind of way. The first few replys did their best to give some sort of advice (Most telling him he had to much of a connection with this female cousin) but as the thread went on the forum members eventually tore the poster to shreads. I remember when we had about 50,000 different posts about Kevin Johnson becoming a Rocket. Also, the upbeat spin ALL of us put on the signing of Scottie Pippen. If only we knew how badly that one would turn out to be! Old form users would remember a forum user called something along the lines of "Lutz" who user to stir the pot quite a bit. Also, a may be mistaken, but wasnt the "Maybe, maybe no" quote from the old forum as well?
How about the kid walking in the mall hearing CD on his cell phone talk about the Rockets getting Steve Francis from Vancouver? People were brutal to him...until it came to pass.
