I missed the last few games, but it seemed like Jordan Hill's boxscore stats look pretty impressive. Yet no mention of him in GARM. So what's the reason? A. People are scared of jinxing him B. He's been terrible, just putting up worthless stats that doesn't reflect his on-court performances C. He's really old news now, as Patterson's on the frontpage right now. Surprised no "Scola should stay 'injured' for the rest of the year so Hill can develop" threads.
People need patience with Hill. He is a project but he is a mobile athletic big with some talent. He is making less mistakes and supposedly has a good work ethic. Even if we gutted this team, Id be happy watching Hill and Patterson at the 4/5 for the next couple of years.
I didn't say anything great about him. I said he had nice boxscore stats. If that considers jinxes him, then we might as well ban his name from GARM. Well, for me it's not so much the "holy crap he's doing well" but rather trying to see if he's feeling more comfortable with recent lineups than earlier. And BTW, Hill has been so inconsistent that even 3-6, 4-5, 5-7, 5-7 would represent the longest stretch in which he shot well. So yes, I am thinking this could be more than just a coincidence similar to how CBud has responded to Battier's departure.
most of them are good contests so its not like hes fouling for the and 1. hes making whoever gets in the paint earnt the shot now, which i like.
Umm... I didn't praise him. But apparently, you two just jinxed him by inferring that he's been playing well. *Sighs* I purposely made this thread so that I can ask a question without potentially jinxing the most consistently inconsistently bad player. But looks like people aren't taking the hint here.
