Duh, you totally missed my point. I should have expected that from a Bears fan.

I know that he can't "cheap" shot the QB. But, why does the QB get special rules written in for "her"?

My whole point was why the NFL has special rules for their pansy QBs, and why they have stupid assed rules like the socks and eye blackener thing.

Bears fans such as yourself don't get it when it comes to your team, and you have proven that you don't get it when it comes to football period.

This all the Bears were lacking on offense:

    Coordinator-Mike Martz
    QB-Kurt Warner
    RB-Marshall Faulk
    FB-James Hodgins
    WR-Torry Holt
    WR-Isaac Bruce

    You get my point...

The Bears offense sucked and was doomed to suck no matter which scrub QB the Bears felt like inserting.

What really is the difference between Miller's 2 yard passes, and Matthews' 2 yard passes?

Surely some Bear fan (ahem Wink) will tell me that Miller's 2 yard passes count for more.

"Passer Out of the Play -- A passer who is standing still or fading backwards after the ball has left his hand is obviously out of the play and must not be unnecessarily contacted by the defense through the end of the play or until the passer becomes a blocker, or until he becomes a runner upon taking a lateral from a teammate or picking up a loose ball, or, in the event of a change of possession on the play, until the passer assumes a distinctly defensive position."

Did you read my post? I didn't say he would drop 200yds or that the offense was a deep threat. What I was saying is that if Miller had stayed in then they could have made something happen down the stretch like they have been doing all year. Like I said BGM, quit looking at numbers. It doesn't matter how much passing yds you get per game. Realize that the Bears were 13-0 if they scored 13pts during the season.

Oh and a fullback BLOCKS for the running back, that is how it works. So, missing their starting FB did make a difference.

A big part of the loss was not the offense but the young defense. They couldn't stop Mcnabb. That was the whole game.

I just think it would have been closer than 33-19 if they would have had their starting QB the whole game.

That is my point for this whole damn post.

No needlenuts I don't get your point.

    Coordinator-Mike Martz

He is the coach not the O coordinator. DUH! You really know your stuff... Bobby Jackson is the coordinator. Hell I could be the O coordinator for that team and score 50pts a game.

    QB-Kurt Warner

He is the man, no arguments here. Like I said above the Bears need a big time QB. Regardless I still like Miller and Mathews and they got it done all season long. 13-3. 13-0 when scoring 13pts or more. Don't need to be a genius to see that the Bears depended on the D to shutdown everyone.

    RB-Marshall Faulk

He is the man also. But the A-Train was the Rookie of the Year and will only get better, so you can keep Faulk.

FB-James Hodgins ( who the funk is this guy? I would keep Shelton)

    WR-Torry Holt
    WR-Isaac Bruce

Both are great but the Bears are stacked at WR. With Robinson back next year and Booker, Terrell, White, and Baites Chicago will definitely improve on their passing #'s next season.

Oh and two words for kidpun and littlerockate:

Bite my left nut. Your teams suck and least I have the balls to stand up for my team regardless of them winning or losing.

Oh wait that's 25 words....

BGM - you suck too.... ;)

OK, you obviously don't read post at all. I have said in the past:

So how the hell am I not sticking with my team?

Oh yeah and if my team sucks what could we use to describe your team, seeing they lost to my team. I guess you'll never get over the Care Bears losing. What's done is done and there's not jack**** you can do about so quit pouting you ****ing little sissy.

    LMAO!!

Hey Wink and gb, at least your team made the playoffs unlike my team, the Broncos.

Geez...quit your crying...it's not like the Bears have done any damn thing in a while.

I'm not going to call the Bears a fraud yet....I'll wait to see if they make the playoffs next season before I do that.

Ok - whatever. Just odd to me that you didn't say anything about the Eagles before the Playoffs started...

What's done is done. Iggles will get raped in St. Louis...

    Oh well... Go RAMS!

    - The Sissy Bears Fan -

Which is 1000x better than being a fairweather Iggles fan...

Go check some of the earlier threads. I've said before, way before the playoffs that I was an Eagles fan. Below are some examples. Now what are you going to whine about?

I'm with hugh douglas on this one: the fine is a joke. This is football and hes paid to be an enforcer, especially on quarterbacks. The ball was intercepted, thus Miller, in essence was a defender and douglas simply pancked him. In my opinion, this is no worse than what big stud offensive lineman like orlando pace do when they properly execute "pancake" blocks. Yet, it's natural for offensive lineman to do this but anyone else gets punished.

Only thing I can think of is the league felt sorry for the bears dismal performance against Philadelphia and wanted to ease their pain and yes, I must say I loved hugh douglas's reaction to the fine.

Play by the Rules or lose $$$. Not like Douglas cares anyways, pocket change to him.

Basically about the fine, who cares? Like Wink3Cat 5 said it's pocket change to Hugh. Plus the Eagles won and Bears lost. Whether the hit was legal or not is irrelevant now except to Hugh and his 35 grand.

Well first let me say that I thought I was replying to GB whenever I typed up that post, only after I typed up the post did I realize that I was getting sniped by the other Bear fanatic. :p

I'm only going after GB because of his astrisk trash...

The funny thing is I actually like both the Bears and the Eagles. I'm also a huge Michigan fan so I'm also a big A-Train and David Terrell fan. If the Bears would have won, then I'd be rooting for them, but damn, you bears fans are right up there with cowboys fans in your delusions of grandeur...

Okay wink, the game might have been closer if Jim Miller were playing.

I realize Shelton is a great FB, probably one of the top FB's in the game, but the Bears offense just sucks, with or without him.

It's not even a legit offense in my opinion, it's a gimmick offense that might work in the NCAA, but it doesn't stand a chance in the NFL against a legit team.

I hope the Bears manage to sign a QB or at least decide to take a new approach to how to run an offense. I mean there's no excuse for how horrible this offense is, the Bears have the tools, but they just don't use them right. Dink and dump will never work in the NFL, and the Eagles helped prove that.

The defense has a nice LB corps and D-Linemen, but the CB's need a lot of work still. It's easy to look good against 1 dimensional teams, but when you play a complete team (offense and defense, passing and rushing), the Bears will always come up short...

Get a QB or a new offensive scheme and a corner, and you guys should be one of the better teams in the league.

Well GB, it's also in the NBA rules that you can't push your defender off to free up space for a shot, but that didn't stop Michael Jordan from pushing Bryon Russell in the NBA Finals to clinch the series...

I guess that puts a big ol' * on the Bulls championship...

I'm hoping for both. But Jauron is waaaaaaaaaaay loyal to Shoop, so we're not getting a new coordinator. Best to hope for is a new QB.

What do you think of Bledsoe, BGM?
