I love it! Did anyone else see Scott start to celebrate when Seacrest told Anthony he had bad news, before telling him he was safe? CLASSIC!
Did anybody see Scott's "friends" from last night. What did he do, go up to every hot chick in his school and say they could be on tv if they pretended to be his friends.
did anybody watch the Primetime Live special about Corey Clark and Paula Abdul? Pretty strong evidence homeboy was hitting it.
well, there wasn't a videotape or anything, but here's what he had. He claims somebody gave him her phone number, and he had the piece of paper with her home and cell number. He said she told him what to wear, what songs to sing, who to talk to, and who not to talk to. He even drove the interviewer to her house. He claims they had sex, and they talked on the phone, and in person for 3 months. He claims she gave him a cell phone, and they had a witness from the cell store who said they were there together. He had cell phone bills with calls to and from her numbers. Some up to 2 hours long. They had records from his parents house, and his grandfather's house. He described her house, knew the names of her dogs. After he got kicked off for not concealing his arrest for fighting with his sister, she stopped calling him. Two years pass. When stories start to surface about her and him, she calls him, and they have the cell phone message with her ( and it sounds like her) telling him not to say anything. Now whether or not he hit it, that's still in question, but he said he did, and I believe him. He had witnesses that said they were at a club together, and they were touching, smiling, etc. They interviewed 7 other contestants, and they all say nobody talked to the judges ever. After the shows were taped, they left. Yet, he has her cell number and voicemails from her. I think he's telling the truth, and is dropping all this because he has a CD coming out so he's trying to gain publicity.
I completely agree with this, which is the main reason I despise the show. I hate the idea that these "stars" are manufactured through hype/television. Even if they can sing, it doesnt mean anything, thousands of people can do that. Real musicians have to work their way to the top, write most of their songs, and don't just have things handed to them. I'm a pretty young guy ( 21) and by listening to some of the older musicians, from the 60s for example, you can tell a HUGE gap in quality. Those artists had soul, with lyrics that had deep meanings. Today it just seems to be about image, sex appeal, and how many text message votes one can get on American Idol. How is this one of the most popular shows on TV today? SICKENING
That's a pretty weak argument, FFB. Hell, I'd take ANY of the American Idols over the likes of Timberlake, Simpson or Spears. To tell the truth. if given the choice of any of them and (your beloved AC/DC) on a desrt Isle I'd pick your favorite band though God knows the same album (Oh, they have a multitude?) over and over would get old somewhere around day one. BTW, I always liked Malcom better than Angus.... What does it mean?
As far as the special went last night, I think he was hitting it with Paula. Who can blame they guy, IMO shes sexy As far as the show goes, I would like to see them play an instrument if they can and I would like to see a little more freedom on what they can sing. The show is pretty good, but I would like to see a well rounded artist and not just someone up there singing
Isnt TV great!! NOBODY in bubblegum pop has talent this is what AI is... I like AI cause of the contest part... just like sports you have your Favs and the ones you wanna see fall.. I dont care what they do after the show, durring it I find it very entertaining...
