This reminds me of when Michael Jordan sent those letters to the local fans promising a better future for the organization. Not that Morrison would make any difference, but I'm guessing the future isn't this year. Boy, MJ SUCKS at management. I think his stint should have ended with Kwame. Because of him the fans are stuck watching this talentless bonehead playing in the league for a couple more seasons.

What is with all the hostility towards Morrison? He's the top scoring rookie. Look at the players he's clustered with-- many considered desirable by fans here and with far more experience. Granted he's supposed to be a scorer:

Did you ever watch him play? He is awful and doesn't seem to have much upside.

its not that easy... any player has to want to play in CHA. although there are some reasons to go there, money and playing time, and im not so sure that is enough for CHA atleast.

I think the worst part is that he got done up by Luke Walton when his knee buckled. It would be one thing if it was AI, but it was Luke freaking Walton

Did you actually compare their fg %s? The guy has a Rafer-esque fg percentage and he's supposed to be a scorer?

That's actually an insult to Rafer. At least he hits threes and plays decent defense.

Why do you call him a bust? He was not bad last season, right?

Bird's sophmore year was the 81 championship over yours truly. I'm pretty sure he played at least 70 games for the first 8 or so years of his career, during the Celtics-Lakers glory era. I don't recall him having a similar injury at all.

Tough break of course for someone who had alot to prove this year. Morrison's numbers should improve with the presence of J Rich, and I think many of you are grossly underestimating the Bobcats potential this season. Richardson should be the first legitimate franchise face, and the supporting cast is athletic, and if they play some defense I see no reason why they can't make the playoffs.

While this certainly isn't good news for the Bobcats it's also not the end of the world either. They still have all of their starters, they just need to find some bench depth. I'd be happy to help them out with that in some form of 2/3-for-1.

I see 8 reasons why Charlotte can't make the playoffs:

    Cleveland
    Chicago
    Boston
    Washington
    Toronto
    New Jersey
    Detroit
    Orlando

He was HORRIBLE last season. The only thing he contributes is points, at a very low clip, and nothing else.

He ended up as a third stringer behind Matt Carroll.
