healthcare.gov isn't a for-profit platform, it makes sense to demonstrate that the conversion funnel is healthy at the top, so that you can extrapolate and anticipate conversions downwards.



and maybe there is another web bubble in the makes, but growth figures on site visits (though more importantly engagement) are what drive the majority of the valuation of consumer-facing web enterprises that generate little to no revenue (think Snapchat, Quora, and Medium)

It's going to be fun watching the GOP try and convince their constituents that, as a country, we must.

- Kick kids off their family healthcare plans;
- Drop consumers for having a pre-existing conditions;
- Refuse to cover preventive care for those with plans;
- Charge women more than men for similar coverage;
- Cancel coverage just for getting sick;
- Insurance companies could even overcharge consumers just to boost their profits;

 

I actually wish we had socialism style healthcare where EVERYONE gets healthcare EXCEPT BigTexxx.

That would be my dream.

GOP offered plans for this. Patients' Choice Act for example.

why do you view that as an issue? Men on average need to eat more than women. Does the government need to deal with this? Should women be forced to pay more than they need to for food to compensate for this fact?

Coverages weren't canceled because people got sick. Coverages may have been cancelled because people didn't understand the contract they signed.

and consumers could just get health insurance somewhere else. A shock to you I am sure.

As far as the website 'working' (its not and webhits have nothing to do with functionality), the security is still a non-existent on the site making it illogical to use and the focus has always been on the broken promises of getting to keep your health insurance and doctors.

 

I am familiar with this editorial and it is simply wrong. Patient's Choice Act reduced costs by creating competition. Obamacare doesn't reduce costs.
