LOL... I tried to log in to check order status... and the Best Buy order management system is down. Reckon the $99 Touchpad brought it to its knees.
If anybody lands one of these things and decides they don't want it, hit me up. I'm trying to get one for my parents for their anniversary.

BTW, I know there is a Staples near ATL that shows In Stock, so you may want to check your nearby Staples availability through their website. Limited quantities available means you are likely SOL, but In Stock should be good to go. They open at 10am.
Yeah, other people will be interested in it, and until Best Buy confirms shipment, I wouldn't be positive you are getting one.
Picked up the 16gb earlier this morning. 32GB is still showing as in stock, though I don't know for how much longer. 150 is a little more than I would want to spend on it.

thanks! Finally placed the order after 40 minutes because their website is at a crawl... we'll see what happens; in the mean time, I will be driving around to see if Radioshack or local BBs have any left in stock
F***. Ordered my 16 GB Friday night from HP.com, order status said "item being processed" and all seemed well but never got a confirmation email. Got an email today saying that it was cancelled. Total BS! I'm pissed now, I could have gone hunting for it but I thought it was already ordered and done with.
Ouch. The hp.com web site apparently had lots of probs keeping up with demand as reported by ZDNet: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/hps-touchpad-fire-sale-the-fallout/55594 I attempted to order one from bestbuy.com and though I got the initial "thank you for the order" email the status on my order is reported as follows: "Order Status: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled; Usually ships in 0 - 1 days." I don't know if that means my order successfully made its way in or I will get a email with bad news. If so, hopefully the other tablets pricing will come down and I will get one (like the ASUS) in the future. For $100 I could see getting the TouchPad... but not for much more than that.
That doesn't make me feel too good about my order. Mine still says being processed. I wish it would let me know already so I can know whether I gotta go look for them in person or not.
I'm also interested in purchasing one from someone who's able to get a hold of more than one. Will pay $130 for 16gb, that should hopefully more than cover taxes/shipping. At work right now, so probably not a good chance I can find one when I get off in 9 hours.
If you ordered this morning and got it while i ordered Friday and did not get it you better believe HP will get a angry call from me.
I just went to Best Buy (galleria) and Staples (Sawyer) and got lol'd out of the building about the availability of the touchpads. Apparently they sold them all last night (even though they apparently weren't supposed to?). So yeah, anybody who ordered an extra one and wants to hook a CFer up, lemme know.
