I ordered one from here, but never got an email confirmation, now when I try to check the order status, it doesn't come up. Did anyone else us this link and get confirmation?

The CEO of hp should be gone tomorrow. Obviously there was strong demand for this product at some price point. We are seeing them selling higher than the 99 dollars on places like EBay. At least be able process the orders you got instead of just pissing off all your customers.
Strong demand at less than the parts cost you. Their profit margin was nothing at 399 probably. They should be fired because this thing took so long to come out, not because they didn't market it well. It should have been out a little after the Xoom but they couldn't do it.

Here's some info from someone on the OnSale purchase: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=42069071&postcount=13464 In particular, he did one-day shipping on an order placed at 5:20 PM EST on Sunday and it arrived today. But his Amazon account still shows it as "Shipping Soon". So basically, who really knows - maybe your Touchpad will just show up one day. OnSale has handled this terribly.
I got lucky and managed to sneak in an order when TigerDirect (and all its related businesses) were selling the TouchPad for $99/$149 (this was prior to the crazy prices that were posted earlier). Shipped out via UPS and is on its way. Also tried Barnes and Noble (fail), and Onsale (via Amazon), but not looking good there. I almost fell for the $99 refrigerator part from Sears.

The only problem with SlickDeals is that people are posting almost faster than you can read the dang thing. Not to mention every rumor, whether right or wrong is in there as well as every person throwing out their Best Buy store number requesting someone with access to see if they have any Touchpads. That thread has been cracking me up all week.
did you get shipping notice? Mine still says processing, but they send an email saying they would ship by thursday.
