16gb version is discounted by more than 80% ($100/500) 32gb version is discounted by more than 75% ($150/600) This is a fantastic number for those who were on the fence about tablets I personally wouldn't pay over $250 to give these a try... heck even at this low rate, this is still considered an impulse purchase for me
It isn't really subjective. at 250 it blows away anything else on the market. show me anything that comes close.
Did you receive a purchase confirmation e-mail prior to receive this? I'm under the impression that HP Small & Medium business 'lost' my order, since I never received a confirmation...
Yes, I did receive confirmation first today. I placed the order Sunday. You did get the confirmation on the website right? It took about 1000 submit to get it through.
A great deal isn't determined by comparing with the rest of the market. It's based on whether the product provides excellent value for the buyer. If DM isn't wanting to pay $200 for ANY tablet, then the fact that $250 is cheaper than a $600 iPad is irrelevant. If the tablet concept and the value he would get from one is not worth $250 to him, then that would make that a crappy deal for his personal purposes.
I have the confirmation from the website, with my payment info and all that... but when I try to check order status, it won't pull up my info. I saved a copy of the webpage just in case plans A and B falls apart. I won't really pursue this, unless they charge my credit card.
Guys, If you ordered on B&N, there's a way you can if your order will be filled or if there's a chance it won't go through. On your order screen, if it says "Cannot be removed" then your order will almost certainly go through. I believe you can find this under quantity or description. Hope it helps. Moe
Just got off the phone with OnSale and they said I was on a waiting list, they are trying to get more Touchpads from their distributor and will know if they can fill their remaining orders within 24 hours. Sounds like a cancellation to me.
Awesome, that's exactly what mine says but still no confirmation or anything. Just a "thanks for your order" e-mail or whatnot.
That's what I'm getting. Fingers crossed. I'm not going to wait on calling....seems as though the B&N customer service department is being bombarded enough based on the FW hot deals forum posts.
apparently TigerDirect saw how as soon as a price change was made on all of their competitors' web sites, their systems crashed... so they went a different direction Spoiler
Yup! When you're looking at the order status screen, click "Check your order" under "details" and it should show you where it is in the shipping process. Just checked mine, and now it's "In Process: Not Yet Shipped" and quantity is "Cannot be Removed". Come on....get shipped already!
