Does RM Tex post anything of substance anymore? Seems he is shouting the same old rhetoric over and over no mater what the topic is. Me thinks he is running a posting program that automaticlly replys "Bush sucks, Bush is evil, Bush is killing middle class, NO WMD, blah blah blah" everytime a new thread is up.
I asked a simple question. I'm not whining, I'm genuinely interested. Do you know the answer to this question?
<snicker> So you are claiming the unemployment rate is actually overstated because people are taking 2nd jobs, thereby crowding out those without a job who are looking for one? Brilliant. Oops, you unintentionally shot yourself in the foot.
Can I not get an answer to a simple question? I did not claim anything. Forget that I'm a liberal who last posted in the D&D last August and attempt to answer my question please.
Your question is so irrelevant that data is probably not even kept on the topic. If you are so eager to find out an answer, perhaps you could poll a random sampling of US citizens.
LOL! How come you don't address those who have been unemployed for 18+ months, whose unemployment benefits have run out, and are not factored into the "unemployment rate". I'll answer it for you....because it makes your skewed numbers look too much like reality! RM95 is right.....you have no ideas. You and your ilk are just parrots.
Hello Pot! Meet my friend the kettle! Admins please move this to the proper forum. The monkeypoo is flying furiously.....
This is factored into every unemployment rate calculation, as it has been historically. The trend holds. The unemployment rate is currently less than the average for Clinton's term, for the 90's and for the 80's. You simply don't like the facts, so you try to undermine them with false, leading questions. You try to find any way out of looking at good economic news. You have been embarrassed, so you attempt to slither your way out of a humiliating situation. Here's a question for the board: Why are RMTex and RM95 so eager to condemn good economic news? Telling...
And you and your ilk continually parrot the RNC and the White House, not bothering to look at reality, the fact that your President's economic policies have benefitted the wealthy while burdening the middle class like never before, not to mention the fact that the cost of the war in Iraq is undermining any economic recovery that is taking place. How embarassing it must be to be so blind. Very telling indeed. CONDORKADOR THE PARROT
Yeah that's the same thing I was under the impression of, assuming you're fairly competent at what you're supposed to be doing that you'll be back. I thought I was basically a lock to be back then more and more time went by with out hearing from them. I guess I'd recommend just making sure they know you're interested in returning (obviously )... I go to UT too, did you get the internship through them in like ECAC or on the HP web page? Or just know the right person as so many people tend to...
Haha I feel like we're just chillin and havin a beer or something in the middle of a war zone. This was one of those rare times that I happend to know the right person, who found me the opening once the original candidate dropped out and threw my name and resume into the hat. I was pretty fortunate since I started my internship search pretty late, applying to everything I could find on the Ford Career Center site (since I'm not an engineer ). After hearing bout your experience, I'll make sure to have a nice long chat with my manager at the end of the summer about how much I loved my experience here at HP and how I'd love to have a chance to come back full time next year.
