FYI on the htc evo you cannot do data and voice simultaneously. Awesome device though! Sprint's "4G" isn't 4G. Sprint is slapping "4G" as a marketing tool/ploy. IT'S WIMAX which is more or less basically comparable to 3.5G. Ultimately WIMAX's shelf life will be short. Think of wimax as the the gap between 3G and LTE (the real 4G). Everyone knows LTE is the future including Dan Hesse.
Uhh, I don't see how you view WebOS's multi-tasking as superior, actually, other than visually. If you want to go from the left-most app to the right-most, that's potentially a lot of swipes. With Android, just open up the tasks and go right to it -- it's much, much quicker. But hey, if you like pretty sliding screens, more power to you I guess. I like efficiency.
Apparently Techcrunch is saying that HP has already killed the Windows 7 Slate. http://techcrunch.com/2010/04/29/hewlett-packard-to-kill-windows-7-tablet-project/ I imagine that means they are going forward at some point with the WebOS tablet, but considering the deal isn't even finalized yet that I'm guessing that means it will be a while before HP puts a product out.
It takes one swipe to go from one side to the other. ...just do a harder swipe and it keeps scrolling. Its pretty and efficient.
i see what they did there (sorry... i hate that saying, but it applies). fairly obvious what they're doing here.
