12 team league with what worked out to be the 8th overall pick. Returning teams had the choice to keep one player from their roster from last year and that would count as their first round pick. Five owners chose to keep players and drew for their order in picks one through five meaning while they got to keep one player they also would end up with one of the last five picks in round two and so on through a serpentine draft.

Unless I had a player worthy of going for sure in the first five picks I would not have kept anyone. But I was new to the league so that is irrelevent.

    Keepers were:
    Priest Holmes 1.1
    Marvin Harrison 1.2
    Daunte Culpepper 1.3
    Michael Vick 1.4
    Donovan Mcnabb 1.5

Then the remaining players drew for the order for the rest of the round with only picks 6 through 12 available. I drew 8th as I said; Ahman went 1.6 and LT2 went 1.7 leaving me with Deuce at 1.8 and a pretty happy man.

The rest of my roster and where they were drafted.
    We start: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1K, 1DEF

    Chad Pennington 5.8
    Jake Plummer 10.5

    Deuce Mcallister 1.8
Domanick Davis 2.5 (J.Lewis went the pick before me here)
    Thomas Jones 6.5
    Warrick Dunn 8.5
    Lamar Gordon 11.8

    Chad johnson 3.8
    Steve Smith 4.5
    Larry Fitzgerald 7.8
    Jerry Rice 13.8

    Paul Edinger 12.5

    Carolina D 9.8
    Jacksonville D 14.5

    Who should I start?

Bulger is playing the Cardinals on Sunday and in a completions league he scores more points than Holmes or Tomlinson.

Quick question: Who would you start tomorrow?

    David Carr (SD)

    Marc Bulger (AZ)

    Joey Harrington (CHI)

I'm leaning towards Carr, but Bulger's looking to be a solid play as well....any suggestions?

I didn't want to start a new thread so I brought this one back up.

In my money league, the one I listed above, I am 5-1. Around week 4 I dropped Benett and picked up Corey Dillon. I made a trade with the team in 8th place last week. I traded Faulk and Roy Williams for Ahman Green and Tony Gonzales. So up until yesterday I had Tomlinson and Green as my backs with Dillon my reserve. I have bye for the starters over the next 2 weeks. So starting Dillon wasn't looking too bad, until yesterday. I hadn't looked at my team this week so I checked yesterday to see if I had any bye players. I adjusted my roster and then checked the transaction page. Apparantly the team in 2nd place is having RB issues. He has a starter that is questionable, a starter with a bye and his backup is Jamal Lewis. So what does the guy do? He drops Lewis to pick up another back   . So I jumped on that and now have a RB group of LT, Ahman, and Jamal. With Lewis coming off suspension in time to take care of my RB bye weeks, I am already spending my winnings :D

Dillon was on the free agent list? No wonder you're winning. No one else in that league has a clue.
