doug is my first name "tzu" is the english spelling (well, one way of spelling it at least) of the chinese word (symbol?) for "master" or "sage" or "wise one" as in lao-tzu, sun-tzu, chuang-tzu, chun-tzu, etc. (tzu can also signify a male or boy but i prefer the "wise" definition. btw, i've read shih tzu is translated as "lion" or "lion dog" - anyone know what the tzu means here?)
Originally my moniker was RunninRaven, because I really enjoyed watching the San Jacinto JuCo baskeball team, the Running Ravens. Sam Cassell and Steve Francis were both players there for a year, so that was another tie in to the Rockets. Then I lost a bet. My name was changed to this one, and I never really got it changed back. I miss my old name.
Bob Marley is awesome, but sadly I got my name from an advertisement in a magazine. LMAO! Yeah right!
macalu - it's a name i made up for myself in elementary. unfortnately, it stayed with me until the middle of high school. some friends would call me macalu and when others overhead it they were . it started to sound kind of gay so eventually i just had everyone call me by my real name.
My name is an acronym about my College, mascot and commitment to them. ITs lame, I dont want to share, but feel free to guess away.
The book Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card, coupled with my birthday, January 20th. Not the most original, but I still haven't seen the guy with my first choice, just plain old "Ender". I feel cheated.

I didn't like my "Det The Threat" name anymore, and I had just watched a Seinfeld episode. Since I am a lawyer by training and I found this Jackie Chiles character on Seinfeld funny, I thought this would be a good name. Clutch was kind enough to allow me to change my name. I think I had tried to get a really long name like "Sir Jackie Chiles The Stupid Poster Who Uses Smilies All The Time" or something like that, but Clutch cut it down to this .
