My last name is Harrison, so that is where the spelling of Harrisment comes from. I have no idea why I chose a play on that word though. I'm generally a nice guy and don't particulary enjoy harassing people. Unless they are named Karl.
When I first registered for this site, I put my nickname and password in the wrong spot. My nickname was going to be Ted Bell, a Phil Hendrie character. ima_drummer2k was supposed to be my password. Still not sure what happened but it's too late to change now.
AlexVanderpool - no, its not my name... Being the biggest Boyz II Men fan, i found my handle within their first CD, CooleyHighHarmony. Alex Vanderpool is the alias of band member Nate Morris, the baritone whom i emulated back in the days when i had a garage R&B group of my own. It is also the name given to the fashion style of preppy shorts matched with long sleeve shirts which was a trademark of the group's early times.
I couldn't think of anything clever... So I just put my initials and since I use to sell Sega Dreamcast games (still have a lot of sports games) on ebay/amazon, well, you know the rest...
i signed up the week the whole Rudy T. resigning went down. I didn't think much of it at the time, just wanted a screen name i could remember. So, i used the AIM name i've had for 5 or 6 years.
MR. MEOWGI is one of my cat's names. It was the first thing that caome to my head when I signed up. It is in all caps because my old boss continually left caps lock on the cpu we had with internet access, that moron.
back when i was in high school, there was a drug scandal where some of my classmates were buying dxm, a compound refined out of cough drops and cough medicine that can supposedly get you an lsd-like high, from ebay. the idiots took 5x the dosage that was supposed to kill you and they were found passed out around various parts of the school, but were lucky enough to get found and have their stomachs pumped. i adopted the sn 'nyquil' to joke about them. i also thought is sounded cool. ok, so maybe its not cool, but you're a stupid-head. edit: oh yeah, because of this, our school made the front of the new york times (we were a snobby prep school of spoiled children) and this started the period when ebay had to begin monitoring their auctions for drugs and such.
You can drop off a contribution in person. I'll make super extra double sure it gets in the right hands.
Yeah, I liked that song. The thing is, like I said, many years ago I used to write music with Kosmo. We had tapes and tapes of stupid songs, and Tony the Pony reminds me of some stuff we used to do (except the music is a lot better ) Don't think I can make the show, my wife has already invited people over that night. But there is always a slight chance we head up there. I know it would be fun.
