    Anyone else want Luke Walton in the deal if something were to happen?

    The guy can ball and has great bball IQ. He is basically another Battier I guess since he can play the 2 a little bit but spends most of his time with the Lakers at the 3/4. That wouldnt be a bad lineup to have on the floor at times with Yao/Battier/TMac/Walton/Alston. Not bad at all!

    This is very similiar to the LakersPride post, not sure why its open, maybe Clutch is working the phones to see if anyone has this mornings ESPN News radio broadcast that this thread starter is referring to. I'm sure he doesn't want to close a thread only to find out later that the source was indeed valid, misinformation-filled or otherwise...

    I don't mind this getting locked, it's just that there have been various rumors flying around, I just wanted someone to confirm or deny it. I guess it's still a question mark.

    You dont watch the Lakers. Sasha BLOWS and all Lakers fans know it. The only reason he's there is because Phil likes him.

    That guy sucks and please, this team doesnt need any of LA's trash

    These cheesy Howard rumors are getting annoying.

    there is no situation because nothing has been confirmed or even rumored from a credible source.
