Dwight is Soft for missing this game. Then not even showing up on the bench. Ive been defending dwight these last couple weeks but tonight made me lose a lot of respect for him. You just dont miss this game. Strained knee excuse is bull****.
The dude isn't allowed to be injured? If he went to the home opener at the Lakers what makes you think he's going to skip out on this? He's played plenty of games against Orlando/LA since he left those places.

So all the pregame interviews he talks like hes playing, then hes a surprise inactive 5 minutes before the game starts... just like when he had the "flu" and missed a huge game against another undefeated team but was at his movie premiere the next night looking perfectly fine. Some other **** is going on with dwight and hes missing games because of that. whether its the child abuse allegations or what I dont know.
If you are watching the postgame interview with Mchale he gave a very quick and short "No idea" on Dwights Status. Makes it seem like even more its something other than his knee.
Dwight doesn't have any rings. Problem is he plays and makes decisions as if he has as many rings as Duncan and Shaq. Dwight doesn't show he's hungry to be great. It's not just about tonight even the game against Memphis he was a soft coward. He needs to prove himself... not to Houston, the Lakers or the national media... he needs to prove to it himself within but you gotta have the heart and desire.
Dwight is avoiding any media coverage due to his child abuse investigation going on. The Rockets org doesn't like to deal with any negative press. I guess they thought they could win without him but they were wrong.

This is EXACTLY why people are always questioning Howard's mental toughness, and his dedication to winning. If he had a knee issue it would have been mentioned way before 5 minutes of tip off. And even if it were true, he should've been on the bench with the team. This has everything to do with the fact that he's been called out by Kobe, Durant, Payton, Barkley, Shaq, and just about everyone else... on national TV recently. And this is all about Howard not wanting to face Kobe again, and not wanting to be called out in front of the camera's again. He is running and hiding from this whole issue, and he is showing complete lack of character, no backbone, and no team loyalty whatsoever. I never thought I would feel this disgusted by another Rockets player after T-Mac, and Howard has surpassed that level of disgust. Sorry, but this is pretty much the nail in the coffin for Howard. He is very, very unlikely to ever be able to climb out of this mental abyss he is sinking into. He is weakness personified. $80 - $90 million for this guy is a complete joke, and he should be ashamed to pick up his paychecks.
If Dwight is out for the Dallas game, we are going to get throttled. Might get throttled with him playing, too.
