How you can blame Howard for this series... I have no idea. Howard was the only reason we didn't get swept fools!
Every player made bad plays and good plays. But after all of that... .9 seconds left. Team is up by two. Coach completely fails to get his players in any kind of situation where they can defend Lillard. Coach blew it. He should get fired. He's not. Next year looks bad.
I can't shake the fact that when all we were doing was feeding the ball to Dwight, McHale didn't put a 3 point shooter out there for Dwight to pass out to. Portland didn't mind fouling Dwight. They were going to let him try to beat them at the line. Obviously it wasn't a bad plan by them. Down the stretch of an elimination game and you're putting all the weight on a player who is not known to be a good ft shooter to win us the game...and you don't even put a shooter out there like Troy Daniels for Dwight to pass out to when he gets doubled...pretty hard to win.
