Sometimes you can't contain an initial reaction. That was one of the worst foul shots I've ever seen. Long, short, a little off, fine. That one was the equivalent of kicking a PAT into the dirt.
He was the only one doing that "O" thing too, in that particular instance. Pretty random thing to do unless a lot of people are doing it.
Lol funny but if you ever played basketball on any level you understand that guys laugh at guys all the time in fun.
I didn't really like it. I know they were goofing around, but it was almost like they were mocking him. The bad free throw itself was funny and I had no problem with them laughing. I didn't like the Big O gestures while he's shooting free throws.
Asik was laughing too though, I mean I'm sure if he looked really upset about it Howard would have been more subdued about it. At this point I think everyone was just enjoying a bit of levity.
How was this making fun of him? Itwas the O for Omer. Also don't call him the Big O, that's Robertson.
I think Ă–mer returning to his form of last season, in a prominent backup role, plus Jeremy Lin regaining his confidence and playing like he did last night can be the x-factors on our championship run. Our starters are more than solid (best SG and best C in the league, above average SF, up-and-coming PF with range and athleticism, plus tenacious junkyard dawg Patrick Beverley) and we could have the best backup C plus the best backup PG in the league. Add D-Mo a solid Jordan Hamilton Morey picked up in another clever move, and we have a really, really, really good 9-man rotation.
omer later went back to the FT line. howard and the bench did the same "O" thing. asik made them and they were cheering.
I'm thinking that he feels bad about the fact that his signing cost Asik all the minutes. So he goes out his way to make feel welcome. It's awkward at times. Last night was the first time that I have seen Dwight's support cause Asik a genuine smile. That was after that huge block that Asik had and Dwight went over to hug him or something.
