It really was pretty genius to have Dwight switch to LeBron with the final seconds ticking down. That being said, that's pretty much the only scenario that I want Dwight Howard one-on-one with Lebron at the 3 point line.
Terrible, terrible, terrible pass by Harden. Not only was it a terrible idea to throw it cross-court, to Dwight, but then the pass wasn't even close to him. Dwight goes up to try to get the ball, and then reaches out because the pass was thrown so far beyond him. Lebron tries to make a play on the ball, but kind of jumps facefirst into Dwight's elbow.
Just some lore about this move by DH aka Superman: The Last Son of Krypton's Galactic Force "Superman leaps high into the air to absorb light from Sol. The energy of Sol, his weight and the force of gravity are then combined to deliver a crushing strike as Superman descends. This powerful blow destroys even the hardiest of foes. It's force is able to penetrate through armor leaving the receiver dazed and writhing in pain on the ground. Reserved for only the mightiest foes, it is said that no man has ever been recorded to escape unscathed." As you can see, even the the mask was unable to mitigate the damage.
Heat fans are cool with it because they say everyone will remember LeBron's 61 but no one will remember them losing to Houston the next night, and they still have time to get the #1 seed.
