Didn't Dean make these remarks on Meet the Press or some such place?

Actually Karl Rove did label all democrats as dumb, and they didn't whine about it, and there wasn't really much of a buzz.

Both sides do this, and it is sad. But only one side moans, groans and whines about it, and causes a big media stink.

All in all I don't think this issue is a very important one, but it does happen on both sides.

The entire thing is tasteless and lame. No, worse.

The race thing is just kind of lame. I imagine his point was that it's easier to discriminate against minorities, but still. Just lame.

But the "no republican has done an honest days' work in his life" that's just over the top offensive. Really. Even if it is eye-for-an-eye with all those ***holes who accuse all liberals of hating America and loving terrorists, he shouldn't sink to their level.

On the other hand, why play fair? Why take the high road? Maybe repubs should get a taste of what it feels like.

    Still, I don't like it.

    --
Top House Democrat Charles Rangel complained on Monday that the Bush administration's decision to concoct a "fraudulent" war in Iraq was as bad as "the Holocaust."

"It's the biggest fraud ever committed on the people of this country," Rangel told WWRL Radio's Steve Malzberg and Karen Hunter. "This is just as bad as six million Jews being killed. The whole world knew it and they were quiet about it, because it wasn't their ox that was being gored."

Republican leaders are probably relishing the taste. Their main focus to to expose any moments of liberal hypocrisy while minimizing their Orwellian euphemisms.

This does make Dean the prime stalking horse for a moderately imaged Hillary.

The idea is enough to make me sick.

This does need to be said.

Although I think what Dean said was a bit tasteless, he wasn't wrong.

According to CNN 82% of registered republicans are white christian.

AAAAAAARRRRGH! NO! Not like this! Dammit!

Overstating criticism only allows Bush an easy escape! It allows him to brush off ALL the criticism! This is exactly what happened with that stupid gulag comment by Amnesty. Now Bush can just deflect ANY criticism on the subject with a chuckle and a shake of the head.

Umm...aren't the majority of Americans white and christian? Aren't most Democrats?

In other news, Ariel Sharon is accused of pandering to the Jewish vote in Israel.
