Actually Karl Rove did label all democrats as dumb, and they didn't whine about it, and there wasn't really much of a buzz. Both sides do this, and it is sad. But only one side moans, groans and whines about it, and causes a big media stink. All in all I don't think this issue is a very important one, but it does happen on both sides.
The entire thing is tasteless and lame. No, worse. The race thing is just kind of lame. I imagine his point was that it's easier to discriminate against minorities, but still. Just lame. But the "no republican has done an honest days' work in his life" that's just over the top offensive. Really.
