Howard was left off the playoff roster.

    End of story.

Where can I find the playoff roster? The one on Rockets' official website is still for regular season, I think.

Can the playoff roster be adjusted each round, like in Baseball?

    Nope.

This isn't surprising. One rumor doesn't mean anything....Howard is out for the season, and yeah, we'll miss that nifty offensive game and smooth mid-range jumper, but I think he's not the difference maker.

How are the Kincks doing these days? Howard would be their second best player.

Obviously of all the playoff matchups, we have the most chance to pull off the upset. Of course the betting lines will be close. That really wouldn't change the fact that I think we're the underdog though.

Like Sherlock said, there are a lot of intangibles in there series that can cause it to go either way. My argument was simply based on the regular season games I watched against Dallas this season.

    - TMac was great as usual
    - Yao played decently, but will need to do more in order for us to win a 7-game series
    - Juwan had a monster game (29 points) in the one meaningful win we had over them, and now he's out

In light of these facts, I have to say that we're pretty clear underdogs, but maybe i'm just a "glass is half empty" type of guy. I never said we couldn't win the series. I just think in order for us to do so, a lot of those "intangibles" that Sherlock pointed out have to go in our favor.

Don't get me wrong though...I'm hoping to eat some nice tasting crow after next week. ;)

You mean he wouldn't be their best? You know, I bet they'd like his contract.

By the way, I bet there's a knicks fan site you could check out - since you seem to be so interested.

I don't give a crap about the Knicks. I am a little unhappy that your comments always seem to have a sense of negativity.

I'm sure you're not the only one. Ya know, i just speak my opinion, what i regard as the truth, as they say "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"

Just kidding dude. Here, have a crystal or something to get that positive vibe back. Seriously, I'm not trying to be negative, just calling it as I see it ya know?....why should it make you unhappy? Why let it affect you personally?

    Baker in, Braggs out
The Rockets set their playoff roster Thursday, activating Vin Baker to replace Torraye Braggs on the active roster.

Baker had been on the injured list with heart palpitations but was cleared to resume workouts on Monday. Guard Moochie Norris, who had been moved to the active roster when Baker was placed on the injured list, will remain on the playoff roster.

The move makes Juwan Howard, out because of a viral infection in his heart, ineligible to play again this season. Point guard Charlie Ward, out since knee surgery in December, also is on the injured list.

I'm sure happy that you don't always see it correcty.;) :D

"[At least Knicks fans] don't go on making an ass out of themselves by making ridiculous claims like 'Yao Ming will make the All-Star team' or will average '13pt, 8 reb' this season."

I sure love these Clutch Classics. Can't wait to see something stupid I've said.
