I'm not arguing the signing, but Morey should've definitely been more accepting of a trade for Asik before this even became an issue.
It's hard to root for this team. Just plain and simple. We lack heart not talent out there. What happened to our players with heart? Add some heart to this team and the dynamics change drastically.
and Jones Asik played elite defense in his first year as a starter. He was one of a handful of big men who average a double-double and he can still improve. Don't get me wrong. I don't say Asik is better than Howard.
If anybody here over the age of 18 thinks that Asik is better than Howard then I no longer believe in a democracy. Voting should be based on IQ/intelligence and not age.
Oh yes, I forgot Jones. I'm also not saying Asik is better than Howard. I just wish we could have both.

I believe (although now I'm less sure) that all this you mentioned started out as a trade proposal and has since made the rounds on other web sites, a sort of self-propagating circle jerk. Don't know if I see Dwight as the answer for The Triangle Offense, nor is it a given he'd opt out and help Phil with cap space. But hell, as I say, I'm not sure anymore.
