How would you react if we drafted Tyler Zeller and Perry Jones?

If the reports are true that Jones wants to play 3 because he doesn't like to scrum under the basket then Jones is going to bust as a 3, as a 4, as a 2, 1, or a 5. He's simply going to bust if he dislikes physicality.
I suspect it is true. I have questioned this guy's mentality since he was at Duncan. I've gone back and forth on him because he has such high athletic potential and a great basketball skill set. But I'm done. I'm convinced he's a whiner baby quitter and once he's got a few million he'll be firmly set playing loser ball.

Any reaction at this pick range in the draft is stupid.

Nobody here has a clue how these players will turn out. Nobody here has the knowledge or resources to evaluate players that a pro team does.

I read this posts saying "they should pick X" or "Y will be a bust". How can you know that?

Because of how Patterson and Morris have turned out, I'm skeptical of any player we take.

I want Ross. If we can get one of the following with him (Leonard, Henson, or Moultrie) I will be happy.

 

Not bitter, opinions are great, but all these opinions are uninformed, there's no way any of us can predict future performance.

 

Why get excited we will do what we always do. Houston trades their pick for a second round pick.

Exactly, even with all the questions surrounding Perry Jones. I feel alot better about him than I did (or do) about Marcus Morris.


Tyler Zeller and Meyers Leonard at worst, gives you a serviceable starter or backup center. We need both.

 

Would be a weird draft. Not big fans of either, but are decent picks for where the Rockets pick.

I would be upset. Not so much for the Zeller pick, but for PJIII, i would have my concerns.

 

Daryl only drafts NBA ready guys with no bust potential.
