how is he a cancer? I've never heard anyone say he was a bad teammate. From all of the knicks games I watched last year, it seemed as if he was the only one who gave a **** and put in any effort to win games. Chandler was either coasting/didn't give a ****, felton sucks, JR Smith was prob high for 1/2 the season, and Amare can barely walk....

He's far from a cancer.. He had nothing to do with the Knicks record last season. He was the only person on the knicks (including the coaching staff) to give a damn about last season.

If I saw Daryl, I'd say to him, "you crazy, genius, b*stard. You're crazy, bro. This could be awesome, this might not work, either way, you're ****ing nuts. But I like that about you."

I'd be somewhat hopeful, but more than that... I'd be concerned..

With McHale as this team's head coach.... Harden has been doing what he likes to the detriment of the team... Melo will easily take over that role, and then we'll have Melo doing no better than what he did in New York... which will likely clash with Harden...

Consider that Harden seems to disappear in games where Howard takes over and becomes the focal point of the offense... With Melo, that'd be another guy taking over games...

Harden may've gotten along well with Durant and Westbrook as a sixth man... but, he's tasted what it feels like to be in the limelight, to have the perks(benefit of the doubt from an entire coaching staff, and pretty much being left to his own devices) of being viewed as a superstar...

I feel good since the rockets still can keep Parsons with this trade.

If we get Melo we are winning the championship. The guy can put up 30 points pretty easily. He does what Parsons doesn't do... plays on a superstar level offensively on a consistent basis. Now if we can keep Parsons he would be one heck of a role player. We would simply dominate.

The cure for cancer I'd Daryl Morey himself... that's why he is getting Carmelo Anthony.

I want Melo but I don't like the idea of a

    Bev
    Harden
    Parsons
    Melo
    Howard

3/5 guys on that lineup play no defense. Also, it doesn't even solve a major problem that we need to correct ASAP... which is defense at the 4. Melo will be killed by the plethora of PF's here that play in the west.
