I don't hate Boozer as much as I do the rest of the Jazz....or Mavericks...but I don't see a need to bring him to the Rockets. Seems like a trade for the sake of making a trade. You going to give up Scola or Hill for him? I like the Scola/Hill combo. While they aren't championship material (yet), you get the fundamental workhorse in Scola and the rebounder/shotblocker in Hill. If we are going to tamper with the 4 spot, it needs to be a significant upgrade. Boozer seems like he's gone downhill the last couple of years. Honestly, the PF is the position I'm least worried about. We need a guy who can get double-digit assists, a sharpshooter who can knock down the perimeter shot, a backup/co-center, and another player who can crash the boards. I hate to say it, but Jeffries didn't play too badly in his limited time here.

Daryl Morey is not stupid enough to kill his bread and butter.

If we acquire Evil Skull Traitor Man, then we most certainly lose all the China fans. Probably to the Lakers no less.

Boozer ain't isht. I mean see his impact on the current Lakers' series and compare it to what the Rockets got out of Scola last season.

Just say no to Boozer, if we are going to pick up a player, it should be a decent center, not a half decent PF.

I would feel like a million bucks.

As in, we'd better be paying him a million bucks, or it's too much.

I wouldn't put it quite that way, but the gist of of your post is just how I feel. **** Boozer.

Few things about Carlos. He is what i considered an older David West. If you want to sign Carlos, you better sign a PG that can pass like CP3. Or else, you are not going to get much out of him.

Carlos a finisher and not a creator, his value is his ability to atk the rim and finsih around the painted area. Bosh is still the better option.

I would most definitely be into that. I've thought so for a couple years. I do hate the Jazz, but I think Booz is a great player, and he has the strength/ups to really be effective as the go to shot blocker on the court.

IMO a boozer pick up would be better than getting Bosh but giving up a bunch of our assets. I'm not saying Booz is better than Bosh, but all things considered, I'd rather have Scola, Hill, Boozer than just Bosh.

What does Boozer add over Scola????

We need to get longer, not thicker. No more undersized big men who will get dominated by 7 footers.
