"Could play in the NBA or any other professional leagues." Quite the difference between the NBA and say the Dutch or Latvian League.
can I ask if you guys got your height(s) just naturally? or did you guys consciously try to always grow taller by always making sure you eat the right foods and supplements and other treatments/medications to make yourselves grow taller? was always curious what other people did or did not do to get their height. for example I know Ji Sung Park of Manchester United always drank deer blood and things of that sort to really try to get taller. similary Lionel Messi did some sort of special treatment to himself to get to the height he has now (supposedly took steroids? not sure =S)
Genes play a significant role in height. I knew some people who don't even get to eat as much and yet are beyond 6 feet in height.
Messi is a full 5'7" at best. He must have some really bad height genes if he took extra measures to reach that height. No comment on deer blood other than that is weird.
Voted Great 5'10 in shoes (Draft Express style ) 185-190 Strengths: Excellent speed, agility, and quickness. Superb ballhandling skills with both hands. Nearly unguardable crossover dribble. Good passer and above average court vision. Ability to pass with both hands. Strong finisher at the basket with either hand. Good on the ball defender. Highly competitive. Decent jumping ability....can't dunk, but can grab the rim easily. Weaknesses: Erratic jump shooter Turnover prone Probably go through spells where I shoot too much ala R. Westbrook Post defense against taller players. Can get sucked into one on one battles due to competitive nature.
I am six five, but am older (39) and creaky now with bad feet and knees after playing ball for 30-some years. So I guess I am a has-been? haha!

I'm the immovable fat guy, but I have a decent post game, foot work, face up, and mid range jump shot. inconsistent on 3's. I know how to use my size.
I played at the highest level of the dutch junior competition (maximum age 19), however that does not mean a lot. I could have gone to the US to try and make a career of basketbal in college, but I decided not to do that (both because i couldn't devote my life to basketbal and i was already injury prone). Now i haven't played absketbal in many years and i'm not in the shape i used to be. At my peak I was a 6"7 PF. Strength: Great rebounder Great (low) post scorer Good midrange game Good passer for post player Good basketbal iq. Guards the passing lanes well Good atletic abilty and speed for post player Weakness: To selfless Goes through stretches of bad free throw percentage Weak 1-on-1 defender Inconsistent (Tends to disapear in some games) Injury prone
I voted average but I'm average to good at best. I'm 24, a tiny 5'7 and over 200 pounds. I'm not completely out of shape since I weightlift and have been working to get back into prime shape. Visually I have the body in between of Chuck Hayes and James Harden. I look like a football player. I could be a lot better but lost a good amount of explosiveness and speed from tearing my ACL at 17 playing in a bball tournament. At my size I have no business playing anything but point guard but I'm not. Im more of a swingman SG/SF (emphasis on S) Comparison Best Case: Carmelo Anthony/James Harden/Manu Ginobili type Worst Case: Overweight Sasha Vujacic/out of prime Baron Davis Strengths -Taking it to the rim/Finishing around the basket. Due to my wide upper body/shoulders, I'm pretty strong so I barrel into the paint like Kyle Lowry/Steve Francis and get some hard layups in. -Though I've lost a good amount of quickness, I'm still deceptively quick. -1 on 1 on ball defense. Pride myself in this and I think this mainly keeps me in pickup games. Never afraid to guard the opposing teams best player. -I have a pretty unstoppable baby hook when my shooting touch is on. -Volume scorer. When my shooting touch is on and I'm in rhythm, I start becoming very versatile in my ways to score. -Decent passer/playmaker. -Can create my own shot. -Setting picks and screens. Weaknesses -Height. I'm almost always the shortest or second shortest guy on the court. My strength makes up for partially for it but not when I get gassed out. -Endurance is crap. Always have struggled with this and am working on removing this flaw. Every one of my strengths become liabilities after I start running on fumes. -Injury prone. -Hustle isn't where it should be and it's attributed to endurance/stamina. -Very inconsistent and erratic jump shooter. Don't understand it about me. I can be crazy good during shootarounds then my shot is gone during a game. If I hit a shot or two, my entire game improves on all other levels. -Tend to be a little turnover prone. -Bad rebounder. I have to work harder because I'm short but I'm less likely to jump up for it because of the ACL repaired knee. -Have a habit of doing too much, play out of my role at times to try and make something happen and more often then not it backfires. (ie: Heat check shots, try to take it to the hole when people are open) -
Used to be "good." Now, probably horrible. Haven't played since my college days. Always recreational/pickup though. Nothing organized outside of intermurals. Play at an event here and there, and I hold my own, but I know I suck now. Handles gone, athleticism gone, so I have to play with what I have left. One cross, pull up if I can't get by hahaha.
I was average to good on the playground, but I wouldn't even make it on my HS team. Out of shape nowaday, so i would rather camp the 3pt and make it rain despite being a streaky shooter and will continue launching 3s when im cold as the anartics.
