I will not be disappointed if there is no trade by the deadline because i have significant confidence in yao.artest.and other members of the rox. I do think they can pass the 1st round game of the playoffs .

We neednt to have trades, now with tmac is season over, we are much better than with tmac in the roster. At 2, Von Wafer is a better guy than tmac, also Ron Artest can also play as SG, with BB add as a backup, its not bad for Rockets. No trade is much better than have some. But I dont care about some small trades, eg. trade Head out for round pick or...

I guess I'm in the minority but with rumors of Amare, Vince Carter, Barron Davis swirling around, and T-Mac (my favorite player and reason I became a Rox fan before all this crap! ) and Head possibly leaving :D , I was more than excited and am getting nervous because if something were to go down I think we would have heard something by now. Too many insiders, and we are what, 5 hours from the deadline?

I would be happy if Tmac is jettisoned, but would be ok if they stood pat, or made a minor trade...Luther Head etc.

I take back my word on keeping T-mac until 2010. If we don't trade him now, he will hurt the team unless of course he will have the microfracture surgery (which I think it's bull)

I don't know how T-mac will face the organization and his team mate after what he has pull off. His team mate will never look at him the same again. I like the Rockets team as now .. without Tmac.

I would like a minor move to be made involving Head. Even though I cringe to see him on the court, he's a good kid and deserves court time somewhere.

Also, we deserve something to use instead of watching him rot in street clothes. :D

I don't want a trade just cause. I want a trade to get this team improved. If we trade for Vince I see it as a lateral move even if we get to give up Tracy, we would be in the same situation within a few years.

Any trade involving TMac is a good one. Otherwise, the trade may not be that good to me.

I'll be fine because there is no one available that is just absolutely someone we should trade for. In fact, everyone that I've seen that is available has some sort of big drawback. Baron Davis and Vince Carter for past health issues and motivation questions. Baron Davis for his absurd contract as well. I like Mike Miller, but I'm not sure what we would have to give up to get him. Everything I've seen says we would have to give up Artest for him and that is not an option at this point. Just no one that I've heard of is someone I think the Rockets just must go after.

As far as McGrady, his contract next year is going to be unbelievably attractive because teams will be looking to slash payroll and part with superb players in order to do so. So I'd be disappointed to see him traded unless we would receive a superb player in return.

I have complete faith in Morey, though. Whatever the best direction for the team to go, he will recognize it and make the correct move. We are extraordinarily fortunate to have him at the helm of this team.

I will be just fine without Baron Davis. I'm still holding out hope for Chris Bosh, Rip Hamilton, DeSegana Diop or Kevin Martin, but I'm also fully aware that I'm sniffing glue right now.

    Cheers.

I'd be happier with no moves at all than a forced move that makes things worse. If we can make McGrady disappear - I'd be ecstatic; but not if it brings us back a real cancer like Baron Davis.

I'm happy with Artest staying, I think he'll even out nicely with McGrady gone. But if there is something we don't know about with him where losing him is important to the squad, okay. But we can just as easily S&T him this summer and probably get at least as good a return for him that way. I don't want to see (again) a forced move just so that he's moved. Battier and Wafer aren't enough to hold down the swing positions - that would doom our playoff chances.

I'm all for a Head/Hayes minor move, even if the return is a draft pick.

This squad, minus McGrady, looks like it can really gel and play well. I'd rather see what they can do than completely disrupt the roster again this year.

We aren't winning it all this year - let's not make matters worse by pulling off this year's Jason Kidd doomsday trade. It's so easy to cripple a franchise with a semi-desperate move.

McGrady screwed the Rockets out of any trade possibilities by announcing his injury to ESPN before the draft deadline. McGrady is a cancer that needs surgery.

Trade McGrady for anything, maybe a bag a Cheetos.
