How upset will you be if the Rockets do NOT trade TMac?

Actually I would hate it......because then all the T-groups (lovers and haters) would flood GARM w/ their garbage.

As you can see by my sig, which you obviously didn't read, I want him gone.

But I don't think it will happen before this offseason.

 

Your sig doesn't say anything about you wanting Tracy gone. Although it does say you want the Tracy lovers and groupies gone.

 

When a famous person goes some where, his/her groupies usually follow......you see how that works?

I wouldn't be upset unless we do no move at all. My call? I would like to cut salary so we can actually do something this summer.

I would trade Shane and Andersen to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Ilgouskas then cut him and let him return to Cleveland like they want.

I would then let Budinger start and let the games fall as they may. If we lose at least Budinger will get lots of experience.

Then, this summer Tracy's 23 mil, Cook's 3.5 mil, and Shane's 7 mil will come off the books.

That would leave us about (give or take) about 30 mil in payroll this summer before trying to resign Lowry and Luis. If Bima is right and the salary cap is expected to be about 60 mil then I would resign Lowry at 6 mil and use the remaining to buy up Joe Johnson. Then I would go into luxury tax to resign Scola if at all possible. You may even get lucky and not have to do so because I don't think Johnson will command a max salary.

Of course, that's just what I think. This may not work as well as I think...BimaThug would know.

 

I'm ready for the excitement of a new player - i'll be disappointed if we don't trade for someone well known -- i'm good with Butler or Iggy. If we hold Tracy it will be initially disappointing, but if we land a huge free agent next year it will of course be worth not making a playoff run this year.

Its fine, it probly means DM wasn't getting any good offers. It's just means we got to wait for the offseason for a big sign and trade, or an ok free agent...
