I remind myself that the first Noble Truth is that life is suffering.

    Cool it down...

I still enjoy my Chinese Fire Rice...

We lost this game that doesnt mean we lost the whole season.

In fact, we have a great Yao back. And that game was totally unfair, the Rox against 8 players.

I just feel pity for LBJ and his team coz they cant win without those Refs. help.

Man I freak out after some loses. I'll just blow everyone off and sit and stew over the loss. I would like to come here to vent but some of ya'll over react like crazy. My freak out is just being pissed off.

    how to deal with lose?

I am seriously thinking about bet some money on Rockets for the championship.

As you know, gambling in UK is legal and tax free, Rockets has risen to 1:17
    from 1:26 at pre-season.

    50 pounds, i am in.

You're a very disturbed individual. Most serial killers start out by being cruel to animals.

I'm sitting at work and quite sick. I feel like throwing up. I don't know if it's from the loss or from the old Spam I ate today (I don't have any money). Either way, it's pretty bad.

I know exactly how you feel, MacYao... it's worse than ever this year now that my expectations have been sky high AND I have League Pass and watch every excrutiating loss from tipoff until it's physically impossible for us to make a comeback.

    It's just devastating sometimes...

Apparently many come to these boards and whine to deal with losses...oh wait, they do that when we win too. Nevermind.

After you are a Rockets fan for long enough - and you watch the Rockets lose in the finals to Boston twice, years of frustrations - 3OT loss to the Sonics, and game 7 losses to the sonics, and getting swept in OT by the Sonics, and John Stockton's dagger...and many losing seasons sparsed witha few great moments and two wonderful championship runs.

Eh, regular season losses begin not to mean so much and you just realize that you've seen this all before....

it used to not be so bad after losses until i started attending baylor, where it seems like the majority are mav fans who do nothing other than talk crap. thats all they ever do and what pisses me off is that some of them don't know anything about basketball. last year in the dorms was terrible especially since our season blew the big one. "wow, ya'll almost have the same record as the texans" and other comments like that would be among the norm. i couldn't stand it and i really don't know how i did not go postal on someone. so now dealing with losses is two-fold: there's the loss which is crappy in the first place, but then there is also the ignorance that is a mavs fan to follow. i've gotten way better at ignoring it but lord knows what the playoffs hold...

Well with me its a case of extreme screaming and yelling during the game. The entire house is booming with F bombs and name calling to Luther and Rafer. However there is lots of "YES TMAC!" or "ALLRIGHT YAO!!!" Anyway the fury runs high, but it helps release the tension so I am not dwelling on a loss too much afterwards.
