This. I've never understood the appeal of keeping a bird in a cage.

    Trolling?

There is a difference between bowing down to someone else's wants, and being asked not to actively disturb other people.

They both could get evicted by the landlord, though.

I have a feeling if you were in the same position you would be annoyed as well. I mean seriously, you would be ok with losing sleep and dealing with an obnoxious bird next door? I don't think anyone would want to deal with that.

All you can do is ask nicely that the neighbor remedy the problem. If they don't you take it to your HOA, land lord or whomever you need to. There is no reason anyone should have to be uncomfortable in their own house.

If you have an HOA, do you have the HOA documents? You should see what it says about noisy pets.

Many, many years ago my girlfriend bought five finches and put them in a cage. Noisy little bastards, but I had to endure. One day, the apartment complex did their routine extermination procedures, sprayed stuff in the corners of each room, in and out and left.

    The birds all died...

The ones I have experience with are super high maintenance. Even if they're well taken care of otherwise, well fed, free to leave their cage, they will still squawk nonstop if you're not constantly interacting with them. Volunteer to let it ride around on your shoulder when you want some peace & quiet. Just be sure to wear an old shirt.

Also if it's happening in the evening, he might not be covering them up early enough. Or uncovering in the morning.

This is low, but when he's gone to work you could play something really offensive on a loop against the closest window. "I HATE (n-word's)" or something that he can't risk it repeating when people come over, or else they'll think it learned it from him. He'd have no choice but to get rid of the bird then.

Are you really gonna beg the authority to help you?

Your recent post in the D&D seems to suggest you're quite the heartless badass.

Why not use that to your advantage and scare the man into giving his bird away?

Okay, so what really happened is you'll failed to understand the birds would die under such situations and so you left them. Or, you secretly wanted it to turn out this way. Otherwise, you are saying you'll received no warning and it just happened that way. But, you almost always get advanced warning before they come to spray. So, which is it?

^I have a clean shot of it from my room actually. He keeps it in his backyard.

Found out the other neighbors are angry about it too and we're gonna take it up to HOA.

I think you should head to the TOR network, and visit Silk Road. There, you can hire a hitbird to do your dirty work.

It was too long ago to remember the circumstances other than the extermination was unexpected but the consequence was not unwelcome (at least on my part). I just offered my experience as a possibility for Dei to re-create the same unfortunate circumstance.
