i believe among all the people in the world, the person that felt the worst about T-mac's performance the first 3 games would be

    TMac himself

    I still believe

    he will be back

excellent post. I give 5 stars.
BTW. I think T-Mac need to spend more time on practice besides the spirit supports from fans.

Why would anyone want to support a player that would act like this? Even if it's not true, just thinking that this can be possible is a RED FLAG. Can it be that TMac is a cancer?

i honestly think he's in a funk. he's not the kind of player/leader to throw games (although Kobe did during that one [playoff?] game last year, where he refused to shoot).

that being said, i would be careful in calling Mac a 'cancer' - prepare to be harangued by, at the very least, 5 posters.

Any attempt to cheer T-Mac and help him back to his old self is welcome. But I'm not sure about this. I mean what if his slump continues, chanting MVP will hurt more than help him if it does. Here is another thought, how about we keep on bashing him? That might work. When he joined the Rockets, he was doubted by many and he responded with stellar performance.
So keep up with the good work, T-Mac doubters, he'll come around. :p :D

That's exactly my thinking. I don't think he's lost the confidence, he just doesn't have enough motivation to practice his free throws and give his 100% in the game. On the other hand, this is just how it was last year. Maybe he actually needs a confidence boost this season, but the T-Mac of last 7 seasons never did. Just motivation and a desire to win.

As for the Bobby Jackson incident last game, I'm glad someone brought that up. As soon as I saw Jackson come into the game I immediately remembered the fight between them. And I did notice the angry look on T-Mac's face when he was stripped of the ball. You can tell on the ensuing possession he was trying his hardest to come back on the other end and nail a shot or dunk it.

β€œIt's going to be a real exciting year,” McGrady told the Houston Chronicle. β€œI'm just motivated. I just wanted to get back. It's being motivated, something to come back and play for with a chip on my shoulder. I'm disappointed that last year turned out the way it did. I expect myself to be one of the premier players.”

Sounds like he's pumped up already.
