How about a pot luck lunch? It doesn't have to be a big ordeal where anyone has to coordinate. Everyone just bring something.
Pretty good idea I usually just work with 1 or 2 other workers, maybe 3 max though but I can't seem to think of anything besides food
sweets (cookies/cake) are always an option. bagels, coffee and a fruit plate would be a nice breakfast idea.
If it is that few people, check to see if they would want to spring for a chair masseuse. These guys will come out on site... you can get a free estimate at their website. http://www.22hands.com/
Seriously...food. Usually breakfast. Donuts, Whataburger Taquitos, Taco Cabana breakfast tacos, bagels, beignets, kolaches, etc.
Donuts are the greatest gift to anyone trying to motivate any worker. It's amazing how a $6 box of donuts will motivate workers to work on your stuff, even when they make $125,000/year.
Donuts are played out... you need to bring in some real breakfast food. Kolaches or tacos would be my suggestion. Brothers Tacos @ Louisiana & Dowling is awesome and cheap. (I'm assuming you're in Houston, and in the Med Center area...?)
If you're a girl, that's ok, but if you're a guy, bringing cookies ghey...you might as well toss cookies while you're at it... don't know how much you want to spend or how many their are, but catering a breakfast/lunch would be much appreciated, I guarantee it...but if that's too expensive, I see nothing wrong with bringing in either bagels with cream cheese or breakfast tacos with drinks...bring in a jug of OJ...
Donuts are weak. We randomly have recruiters bring our team breakfast, and we've specifically told them to never bring donuts again. It's just lazy. If you're gonna do breakfast make it something like bagels, tacos, or kolaches.
