had roaches in my apartment, but got roach traps and seemed to get rid of them (knock on wood). Haven't seen any roaches around since 8 months ago.

The only cockroach control product we use is the Dupont Advion system. It's basically 4 tubes with a gel substance that cockroaches go crazy over.

It's better than all that raid bait/spray crap at the stores.

I use 4 tubes around the house every 5-6months. After that they are gone!

seems like OP needs help with the stowaways at the new place, vs sealing pipes and cracks in the old place he just moved out of( the place with the roach infestation)

Eventually it would help take them out

Get some Boric acid, which is just a white powder you pour around things like the base of cabinets and wall corners and anywhere like that you can.

My girlfriend lives in a townhouse deep inside a lot of trees and greens. Extra humid area too... tree roaches man. I don't think tree roaches can be stopped. You have to like... burn the trees.

Boric Acid has been around for as long as I can remember, and YES it works.

If you you have kids or pets, be sure they don't have access to it! It's better to be safe than sorry!

Are they by any chance acrobatic roaches? And if so what sort of stunts have you witnessed? If they are you can pm Yung-T (My associate in Jurassic Acrobatic Park) about it and see if he can visit the location in order to begin the procedure on removing them and placing them in an island of unknown location in Costa Rica... These roaches would fit in great with the giant acrobatic ants another member made a thread about....

Oh btw has anyone here seen a flying cockroach? I haven't ever seen one of those in Texas before a week ago.

I was about to spray one of those things to death until, to my horror, it spread its nasty ass cockroach wings and took flight.

I did two things to rid my apartment of a roach problem.

First, clean EVERYTHING. Leave no speck of food to entice them. Ever.

Second, I used the "Roach motels". The great thing about them is the poison inside kills roaches (which are attracted to them). THEN, the other roaches eat the dead roaches and poison themselves as well.

Inside of a couple of weeks, I had no problem and never saw them again until I moved out years later.

Just bombed with some stuff from Lowes, red canisters but forget the name. Came back two hours later to a cemetery of roaches. Not sure which fogger you used but this one did pretty well for us.

    That's pretty gross, no offense.

Your dogs for rolling on cockroach guts and you for having roaches for roommates.:p

Had a problem moving in to an apartment one time. Was a nightmare. Boric acid. Put it on the edge of all the rooms and closely to all water sources. Bathrooms and kitchen sink especially. Also if you can pull out the dishwasher and put it behind there. It wipes them out. Even the eggs. Stuff works within days. After that never saw a roach again. They sell it everywhere to.

As long as you have no pets, this is one of your best bets without having to call an exterminator or anything.
