I have a ton of respect for Jim Lehrer. I think he's a throwback to the old days of newsmen who could rise above partisanship and sensationalism. I thought he did great, but I'm a little biased. I loved is that all of his questions lent themselves to deep discussion, were about real issues, and he encouraged direct debate. He also would call them on not really answering a question, and give them another chance, but he didn't keep harping on them.
