Actually, as a friend and as your duty, I would be more upset with her for drinking a Coke. Her "personal choice" is nothing but a negative on herself and society. Cokes are contributing to the exponential rise in health care costs that we all must pay for. Her type of food consumption is not responsible eating. This act really can not be tolerated in our enlightened, post-Obama civilization. Do the right thing - save her from us and save her from herself. The planet thanks you.

you clearly don't live in the areas now covered in this article.

oh, and recycling still has to be sorted when it's delivered at the plants.

i can understand if it's a pain in the butt to find the recycling bin but if it's near the trashcan or in the vicinity then there really is no reason to not throw it in the proper bin. anyway, at the end of the day, it should be either the janitor or trashman's job to sort the garbage.

anti-recyclers even when it's not an inconvenience... that's just kinda weird to me.

What do I say? The bin is 25 feet from her desk. I am not telling her to sort all of her trash and at the end of the day take it home. I am just saying we have a bin. Use it.

Tell her given the BP oil spill, we all need to be more conscience of our environment and do our part...

    or

Tell her to stop being a lazy wh*re and recycle...

Then if she starts arguing, just pimp slap her...i'm just saying...;)

btw, give her my number and I'll talk to her...over dinner, then we can recycle together...

Aluminum is pretty valuable right now - little chance any is going into a landfill - someone will dig through there and grab it before it is buried. I'd worry more about plastics.

Ill recycle if there is a recycling bin next to a trash can, however it is becoming ridiculous TWELVE different recycling bins and NO TRASH CANS. The holes for each bin are only big enough to place individual items into. It becomes too much of a hassle, instead of wasting 20 minutes sorting my garbage, I end up going to the bathroom and dumoing everything in there because it has a regular trash can
