I was talking about JJ. That's what he is expected to get via FA.

Yep. Bosh had called McHale directly and told him he was joining the team. That deal was DONE and then Miami came in and offered him the full max and he waffled to get the extra money and stay home in Miami.

man, that team would've been so ill if guys had ended up staying healthy

    Bev
    Harden
    Parsons
    Bosh
    Howard

that would've been a contender, and Morey would've been the GOAT

[ESPN] Chris Haynes - In attempt to knock off Warriors, teams targeting Andre Iguodala
"The Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz are among the teams interested in the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, sources tell ESPN. [...]

The Timberwolves recently acquired All-Star wingman Jimmy Butler to jump-start their acceleration, and if they're able to procure Iguodala, head coach Tom Thibodeau would have a roster equipped for a deep playoff run. [...]

Should Utah lose All-Star forward Gordon Hayward, who is expected to decline his player option and garner serious attention from the Boston Celtics, Iguodala is believed to be its top priority to fill that void, sources maintain."

Where does this leave us on trades and FA signings?

We gave up basically all of our best assets outside of Capela to make this deal. Don't think we have anything really to offer in pursuit of another star in trade, such as Paul George.

We still have no cap room.

They could do a deal for George centered around Ariza and Gordon

Right we can make a George deal work mathematically but hard to see how Indiana isn't getting better offers than that.

Not to mention Ariza was a lead recruiter for Chris Paul and they are apparently super close.

I'm guessing we can't trade another future first, is that correct?

We certainly didn't trade all our best assets. Our #1 assets have always been Eric Gordon @ $12m for 3 years and Clint Capela under team control for 6-7 years. We also have Ariza who is an excellent contract for a vet team, could easily get a 20's first rounder for him.

If it's for George, we can still give them a better offer than 27/28/Randle. We wouldn't accept 27/28/Randle for Gordon and Ariza, even if we were rebuilding.

But from what I understand, we have literally 0 cap space right now?

We can trade 2020 first round pick still.
