How the Jazz defend Yao

    nothing special, Yao was beaten by himself and his teammates

    I also noticed that several times, the Jazz got Yao to receive the ball a little further out from where he normally gets it on the left low post. But instead of trying to back down the defender, Yao went right into his post move and missed the shot. In other words, he rushed it a bit.

    Yao just needs to stick his elbows out when he has the ball, both offensively and defensively. Simpily by doing that, he'll be at another level of dominance.

    Sadly, I agree. If people are going to get into his body and play physical, Yao needs to learn to pump fake people in the air and then fall down.

    Jazz are just physical team but its not like they play that great on def. Tonight shaq owned them, lakers will own them every night in their front court, howard has no trouble with the jazz. Yao is just not athletic and active enough to keep up with okur boozer and millsap laying their balls on him.
