    If I wreck a car and the bumper needs fixed. At some point all that matters is fixing the bumper. Doesn't matter if it was a wreck or aliens. Just fix the bumper

    If a woman is raped and has mental issues from the incident she still has to fix the issue because she is the person left with the incident hampering her life

    I'm agreeing with you. Understanding how a problem formed when it comes to systemic societal problems is irrelevant. You are right. And your analogies are perfect as societal problems are just like car crashes. I need to learn more from you.

    Ya. Mechanical engineering undergrad and grad curriculums have turned to sjw curriculums. I mean what even is an Otto cycle? Is it like critical race theory?

    You're looking to assess blame. The history of black people is well documented. Time to work on solutions

    Btw in your car analogy, the point in understanding how an accident happened is to prevent further accidents. Did the accident that caused the bumper to be damaged was due to ABS failure or driver error? The cause is going to determine future prevention methods. Do we need to reprimand the driver and increase his insurance rates because he or she is more prone to accidents or was it a mechanical failure such as abs system failing which means the manufacturer needs to do a recall on their vehicle and fix their abs system.

    We aren't going to have slavery or segregation again. Nobody is repeating the causes

    Well the solution is going to be different if the cause is inherent traits of the black race or socioeconomic factors.

    It doesn't matter what caused a lack of respect for education. Just start respecting education

    You're just trying to assess blame Its not a medical problem. Some social problems do have to start with fixing at the cause.

    Slavery was 170 years ago. You can't go back in time

    No make it a value in families. You don't go to church one day and become automatically indoctrinated. It's a day by day process

    At the same time it only takes one generation to change the course

    Nobody fully addressed the aftermath of slavery and segregation. That is the problem. "Let's throw a few trinkets at them...and they will be happy".

    From my understanding of my reading of history is that after slavery there were reperation for former slaves in the form of land. White southerners stole the majority of the land through multiple methods such as law enforcement always being in the side of the white families in land disputes with former slaves and also other things like lynching. If black families were able to keep all those lands they would have had much more generational wealth to pass on.

    @Mr.Scarface

    Everyone was poor after slavery. The myth is most white people today benefited from slavery.

    The decline of the black family structure is not a post slavery issue. It's a 60 year issue

    I also heard other ethnicities live in America besides Black and White people after slavery

    I know the D&D doesn’t understand that
