I'll let you and @pgabriel debate

because Mike and Macauley taught us

    Protection
    For gangs, clubs, and nations
    Causing grief in human relations
It's a turf war on a global scale
I'd rather hear both sides of the tale
    See, it's not about races
    Just places, faces
    Where your blood comes from
    Is were your space is
I've seen the bright get duller
I'm not going to spend my life being a color

Then he goes on and says

I said if you're thinkin' of being my brother
It don't matter if you're black or white

And that's true, the 99ers are brotherhood because we believe in the Center

So it's ok that blacks receive 7% longer sentences for the same crime?

Schools get federal dollars as well - it's not entirely either or.

And regardless, it's still a systematic difference around race. This is why you don't understand what systemic racism even means.

Maybe to you (assuming the difference is only 7% - you didn't provide any source), but I'd think that the difference between a 14 year sentence and 15 year sentence - 1 full year in prison - is not insignificant to the person in prison.

On the issue of black women with degrees earning less, white people get more degrees get more degrees in fields like engineering that pay more.

I understand that not all Black people are the same. Hell, not all people are the same.
If you are the better student you'll get the better grade
if you are the better athlete, you'll get the starting position

    https://www.ussc.gov/research/research-reports/demographic-differences-sentencing

    [

    1. Black male offenders continued to receive longer sentences than similarly situated White male offenders. Black male offenders received sentences on average 19.1 percent longer than similarly situated White male offenders during the Post-Report period (fiscal years 2012-2016), as they had for the prior four periods studied. The differences in sentence length remained relatively unchanged compared to the Post-Gallperiod.
    2. Non-government sponsored departures and variances appear to contribute significantly to the difference in sentence length between Black male and White male offenders. Black male offenders were 21.2 percent less likely than White male offenders to receive a non-government sponsored downward departure or variance during the Post-Report period. Furthermore, when Black male offenders did receive a non-government sponsored departure or variance, they received sentences 16.8 percent longer than White male offenders who received a non-government sponsored departure or variance. In contrast, there was a 7.9 percent difference in sentence length between Black male and White male offenders who received sentences within the applicable sentencing guidelines range, and there was no statistically significant difference in sentence length between Black male and White male offenders who received a substantial assistance departure.

You are right. Race of a human doesn't determine how criminal you are. Poverty does have a strong correlation with certain types of crime though such as drug offenses and theft.

It's just this country created this:
    https://www.taxpolicycenter.org/fiscal-fact/median-value-wealth-race-ff03112019

Therefore one race is signficantly disproportionately more poor and therefore will have s higher propensity to commit certain types of crime and it ain't insider trading.

So you may consider 8% not a big deal, but there are many many many other points I posted in there on structural discrimination. You said there was no proof, my point is to show you that isn't true at all.

Should wealthier districts have better schools?

The government does try to deal with this issue.

HISD which actually is deemed a wealthy district has to share its wealth with non wealthy districts in Texas.

Yes. What would be the point of a family maximizing their earnings if some of those earnings can't be passed to their children's schools?

The problems the kids are going through in less funded schools have little to do with money. You really don't need much to learn how to read and write or do basic arithmetic. You could learn all of that with a chalkboard and Big Chief notebooks.

The point of maximize your earnings is for larger more luxurious homes, nicer cars, nicer cloths, nicer toys,l and if you wish nicer private schools.

I don't need to pluck your emotional heart strings to convince you your idea is bad. I just need to point to how unpragamtic and unsustainable that system is where divisive in education and wealth is accelerated by your desired system of wealthier kids deserving higher quality education which results in accelerated wealth divide which then results in situations like the Bolshevik revolution that entails massive violence and social unrest.
