Between Jared and Miller it's amazing how much he depends on these guys.

I mean really how does Stephen freaking Miller gets so much sway?

And why should they have reached out? That would mean that this White House and the Republican party actually cares about racism and civil rights. No, this will be a carefully coded speech to the alt-right, white supremist core in his base that will seek to mislead the suburban whites he needs to win re-election into believing that he cares about them and their country. This is actually a tactic created by Rush Limbaugh back in the 90s where he posited that it was OK to harbor bigoted attitudes against the "others" because they weren't true Americans (read white) or worthy of being considered to be true" Americans (welfare mothers, drug addicts, thugs, rapists, criminals etc. - all of whom just so happen to reside in the poorer parts of town). Nothing new here - it's the old Nixon "Southern Strategy" that was updated by Ronald Regan in the 80's - especially the odes to the "Lost Cause" of the Confederacy. He'll be sure to have a nice group of sambos in the background serving as window dressing for the visual aesthetics.

Now, what's really funny to me is that all of those MAGA morons are being conned by President Cheeto-Head who doesn't give one damn about them, their military, their flag or their country. All he and the other so-called Republicans care about is maintaining power so they can keep the economic imbalance going. But - as Donald has proven - all he has to do is wave the American flag, appeal to their fears and say the right carefully worded bigoted things and they will follow him anywhere while he laughs all the way to the bank. As Childish Gambino put it: "This Is America".

I'm probably much older than you but we were almost neighbors. I lived on Glenhollow off Belfort between Cullen and MLK (back then it was South Park). Small world.

I talk about blacks improving through education. Why wouldn't I like this as black man?

I care about young black males more than you. it's one thing to debate, its another to be an ******* and say I hate my people achieving.

What have I ever said to make you think I dislike this? If you can't answer I know I won't get an apology jerk. Get a life

You constantly push the idea that communities of people of color don't care about education, working to improve, etc. You gripe about it all the time. This story flies in the face of your premise.

I have no clue whether you want black men and women to achieve.

I merely pointed out that you spend a lot of time on these boards pushing the idea that black communities aren't concerned with the idea of success in and with education.

That is correct. You wouldn't like the story because it goes against the message you try to spread on these boards. I didn't say whether or not you would actually like or dislike the achievements themselves. They are two different things. I don't care whether or not you are happy about the young teens' achievements. What matters more to me is that you try and paint a picture and this story flies in the face of the picture you try and paint.

Feel free to keep calling names though. :D

Okay I knew you would be an ******* and wouldn't own up to what you actually wrote and being wrong. Typical.

But let's play your stupid your sss game. What does this story prove I'm wrong on about?

This story means poor black kids do well in school? I shouldn't worry about poor blacks kids' education because these guys won a debate? Everything is fine and dandy?

The part you don't understand is that those many black kids who didn't care would probably care if they lived in a more stable environment, with better early childhood education and access to two parents.

There are a lot of white people also who slipped through the cracks because their parents left them a 300,000 dollar property asset or their father hooked them up with an internship or just the fact that they were raised with a stay at home mother was just enough to push them over enough were they have decent middle class white collar jobs.

In a group, there will always be the exceptional that will exceed in almost any environment. Then there are those who will almost always fail in any environment. And then there is the large chunk in the middle were I fall most likely were a strong structured childhood is what made me not a felon. A lot of those kids you are looking down to probably wouldn't have gone down the route they gone down if they were raised in a more structured environment. You are one of those who succeed in no matter what environment they were raised in. Be proud.

You have to look at this from a population perspective rather than the individual perspective.

The story shows there are groups and community buy-in regarding education being important.

And I'm glad that you took me up on the offer to continue name calling.

I think you need more practice in English to really understand some of the things people talk about on the BBS. Suggest that to your bosses. Is English your second language? Third?

What I took you up on is to be a man and say I shouldn't have compared to Senator and claim you don't want to see black men do well even though we may differ on what is needed

Get back to me when you can show that you actually understand what I wrote. I apologize that I don't speak your first language to be able to help in the process.

But since you definitely don't understand my point, there's nothing else that I can do.

So you didn't say I won't like the story?

Edit: I addressed what you claim to have meant
