How Rockets should treat Yao...

    You just made your own point "The college game used to train big guys and big guys wanted to be big guys. Now all the big guys want to play like small guys."
    You just agreed with me :)

    With this in mind, there will never be an Ewing, Hakeem, or Robinson again, unless they train themselves.

    However I am sure people will adjust to the rule, but in this current era, dominate big men are still doing what you suggest, big guys wanting to play small..........

    Still stands because as of 2010, its a new decade...so things could change but never less rules are lot less friendly for big men vs the past.

    Wake me up when the next big dominates both end of the court on a consistent basis. DH shows flashes, Yao shows flashes but both of them can be shown to disappear at both ends of the court.

    Again I agree with some of what you are saying... But back in the day there was a Big Man Camp that a lot these guys went to train... I think the camp still exist although you don't here as much about it now as you use to.

    All players Big or Small have to take that extra effort to train themselves, so I wouldn't count out a dominating Big Man just yet... But we will see what the future holds.
