Like Palillo said, "Bev wouldn't start for most NBA teams".

I'd drive Beverly to the airport, blasting "Hit the Road Jack" from the speakers.

Of course, they'd find my body in the weeds along the Hardy toll road.

The only reason Bev is worth a dime is because he plays next to Harden. Without Harden, he'd be a scrub.

Hmm. Who said he wasn't a scrub next to Harden? It's time to move on.

Been saying this. Ok. It's not even that he starts. He plays too many minutes. He's not that good. His best role is spark plug off the bench. He's not nearly good enough to play so many minutes.

He is wild, uncontrollable with limited talent. He has become overly confidence just because some said he was good in defense. His plays are so easy to read. Only good for a second unit. Come on DM....cant you see.?

Going to be a sad day when he's no longer a rocket.

Im not sure about that. NBA GM's aren't the brightest group. Bev's value will never be higher than it is right now. His "reputation" is still there as one of the best defensive players in the league.

Needs to be traded to maximize value asap.

I know I'll be slammed. But Beverley actually looks worse than Jeremy Lin now.

Damn just last year people wanted Bev to be here for the long haul "PERFECT FIT NEXT TO HARDEN"....now people can't wait to get rid of him.

That's pretty hard to do. They both just look terrible.

I still love Pat Bev. Okay love is maybe a little strong of a word to use. His defense is not as good as we once thought it was, but he would be best served as a 3rd guard off the bench. He brings toughness, grit, and hustle to the game and I think those qualities would be best served as a spark plug off the bench where he along with a guy like Brewer can completely change the tempo of a game. He is not a starting PG in the NBA and it isn't his fault that this team lacks one. That falls on Daryl Morey unfortunately. Whiffing on Kyle Lowry this offseason was a huge blunder in retrospect and guys like Augustine and Darren Collison were available. Certainly neither of those guys are stars, but they are better than what we have. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that we don't have another reliable guard on this team that can create off the dribble and put pressure on a defense other than James Harden when there are so many of them in the league. That is inexcusable and it's literally running James into the ground.
