If we get Love we can't afford Parsons too.

Quit smoking crack player lol. Dwight came to play with harden. Keep dreaming if you really think it was the play of parsons last season. Hello Dwight and chandler have the same agent of course he's going to talk parsons up.

Dwight would be traded before harden trust me on that. Harden 24 years old and a stud.

Plus harden a lot better defender than parsons and that's not saying alot. And another thing is the drop off from harden to Lin is alot, you 12/13rs crack me up. In two seasons with the rockets hardens been 25 5 and 5 2 allstar games and got us to the playoffs. Anyone questioning this dude knows nothing about basketball. He's 24 he's going to be one of the best rockets and NBA players to ever play the game. Give the man his due hes the best thing this team has gotten at such a young thing since Hakeem. We got all NBA wanting to play for us because of him. You don't give players away like harden for Kevin loves because you got jermey freakin Lin on the roster. You only trade harden if he asks to be traded.

why not? Bird rights allow us to surpass salary cap to pay him, as long as Uncle Les is willing

Kevin Love brings scroring and rebounding... none of which we are in dire need right now... what we need is a back up center, wing defender and more 3pt specialists...

I don't think love will make us more of a championship contender that our current line up... in the finals, defense is key... we all know love plays almost no defense...

How many busts have we seen in the top 5 picks in previous drafts? I'd take Jones or Parsons any day of the week over a fifth pick, aka "inknown" commodity, unless it's a surefire bonafide star.

I'd get rid of everything except for harden and Howard for love. It would be an upgrade. People saying we're just missing a few bench players are wrong. Yes we are missing perimeter defense and 3 pt shooting but we wouldn't be set if we had that. The more stars in our starting lineup the better we will be able to offset the difference between a durant/Westbrook/Ibaka over harden/Howard/parsons. These guys play 40 minute plus in the playoffs. Stars get you to the finals, not bench players.

Tbh, I'd rather keep our team intact.. try to trade Asik for a defensive wing.. and then extend Parsons and try to sign a good Big in 2015, like Gasol if he can still go....

Go look at the packages that top 15 players have brought in trade and tell me how a combination of Jones (high value), Parsons (very high value), multiple draft picks and the ability to take on a bad contract cannot get it done? The Wolves would not get a better deal than that, and honestly Morey wouldn't need to include all the assets listed above.

    Pretty much.

They either get a young star back for Love...which is unlikely (because it means another team like say...Cleveland gives up on Kyrie...) or they get abunch of okay young player but with a high ceiling like Parsons and Jones.

I think anyone not named Harden & Dwight would be offered.

Parsons and Jones and/or Dmo are automatic.

Asik or Lin will be needed for funding, with them already having a decent C and Rubio having problems lately it would probably be Lin. Wouldn't be both due to the contract size of both, especially next year.

    And ofcourse picks.

And honestly, Bev might be automatic now that I think about it.

I think at the 2015 deadline we could get Love. If they miss the playoffs this year (which is increasingly likely) and are hovering around .500 again next season the Wolves may see the writing on the wall.

Don't quote me on this but I think we will have his bird rights and can go over the cap to sign him.
