I was looking at the chronicles archives, found something interesting about that papers prediction on our Rockets before the 2005-06 season, fits this season like a glove!
Check it ouT

Houston Rockets
2004-05 record: 51-31
Coach: Jeff Van Gundy
Top newcomers: Stromile Swift, 6-9, FA/Mem.; Luther Head, 6-3, G, 24th pick; Derek Anderson, 6-5, G, FA/Port.; Rafer Alston, 6-2, G, trade/Tor.; Lonny Baxter, 6-8, F, FA
Key losses: Mike James, 6-2, G, trade/Tor.; Clarence Weatherspoon, 6-7, F, waived; Scott Padgett, 6-9, F, FA
Known: Start with Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming and know that the Rockets will have two members of the Western Conference team when the All-Star Game is played in Houston next February. The addition of Stromile Swift on the front line, Rafer Alston at the point and Derek Anderson at shooting guard should help fill in around them.
Unknown: Can Alston be the solid contributor he was in Miami?
Verdict: 52-30, No. 4 seed in West
